Who We Are

Douglas Applegate is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, Texas, Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Applegate is a seasoned trial lawyer with over twenty-eight years of experience, graduating Arizona State School of Law in 1979 (Magna Cum Laude), after attending the Naval Justice School as an Honors Graduate.

For over 30 years, Douglas L. Applegate has handled more than 100 jury trials in courtrooms all over this country. Simply put, he specializes in solving hard problems. His experience and expertise span many practice areas both in civil and criminal litigation from representing doctors before professional/medical boards & peer reviews to defending U.S. Marines wrongly accused of international war crimes. After serving many years in the U.S. Marine Corps and larger firms, we formed this association to offer an alternative to the traditional law firm to offer a different approach. That approach delivers and achieves our clients’ objectives: a commitment to victory.

The Greek word “hero” literally means “protector” “defender” or “guardian”.
